Terms and Conditions
The challenge will start on the 3rd May 2008 and finish on Monday 5th May 2008.
The Challenge will start at 0800hrs from Durhams Fire Service HQ on Saturday
Transport will be provided back to this location at the end of the event. No liability is accepted by the organisers for vehicles left at this location.
Participants under the age of 18 only by special agreement with the organiser.
The organisers accept no liability for damage to participants or equipment during the event. Participants should arrange suitable insurance.
While participants safety will be carefully guarded, the event is "Assumed risk".
Participants are asked to use this event to raise sponsorship for TWSMRT, The Fire Service Benevolent Fund or Fire and Ice Expeditions - please contact the organiser for a sponsor form.
The £65 deposit will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances at the organisers discretion.
The organisers will provide 2 nights accommodation, transport, snacks and drink during the cycling day. Participants will have to purchase their own breakfasts and evening meals (expect breakfast on the 5th May which will be provided).
The organisers reserve the right to insist a participant retires from the challenge if they pose a risk to themselves, other participants or the good name of TWSMRT, The Fire Service Benevolent Fund or Fire and Ice Expeditions.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event and provide a refund to all participants.
A kit list will be supplied by the organiser.
A minimum sponsorship of £100 per person is required.
