Team called to search an area of woodland in Durham City for a missing 38 year old male. The search took about four hours with 9 team mmebers and one search dog was stood down once the woodland was searched to await further information.

Team called out at 1330 today (Sunday) to search for a male missing from home in a remote area on the County Durham/Northumberland border. The police were concerned for his welfare. 10 team members attended. Working with the Police we established a possible location on a fell about 7km NW of his last know location. As we were making our way to the area the man returned home safe and well with the assistance of a friend vehicle

Team called by police to extract an elderly lady whose car had crashed down a steep embankment toward a river above Rookhope. Upon arriving on scene the team quickly rigged up a stretcher and haul system and brought the injured lady back up to the road for transportation to hospital by County Ambulance.

Team called to help search for missing vulnerable 25 year old male in the Causey Arch area following very heavy rain. Team stood down whilst deploying when the missing man was found by the police.

Team callout
The team were called out today at 13:25hrs to support the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) with a male who had collapsed on the Pennine Way near High Force waterfall. Access was restricted from the roadside due to the location being south of the River Tees. The team deployed 9 team members and with our two all terrain vehicles from Barnard Castle and Durham. Upon the arrival at the incident NEAS ambulance crews were in attendance, Teesdale and Weardale Search & Mountain Rescue team members carried the casualty to a waiting road ambulance via the Holwick Bridge.

Team called to assist with search for missing 74 year old male from Spennymoor area who's car had been found in Shincliffe. A navigator and search dog handler plus dog were dispatched to the initial call to search specific areas.

Team called to assist with search for lady missing from Ushaw Moor. The 9 team members and one search dog searched the Deerness Valley in the vicinity of Ushaw Moor and stood down after about four hours when the lady was located at a friends address in the vicinity.

The Team was called out to a male who had fallen from a riverside path near Gibsons Cave, Bowlees Teesdale and injured himself. 13 Team members attended and helped the North East Ambulance Service and HART to carry the casualty to the nearest road where he was transported to hospital by Ambulance

The team were called this afternoon to assist emergency services in an immediate search for a missing female kayaker on the River Tees north of Cotherstone. While the team was assembling the paddler was found safe and well.

Team continued searching woodlands on the outskirts Durham City for a missing male, while the fire service searched the river. Team stood down when DDFRS made a find in the area previously indicated by the Team Dogs.

Team callout
The Team were called by the police to search for a missing vulnerable male who had last been seen a few days before. The Team searched in darkness for a number of hours covering an area identified by a phone ping and an adjoining area next to the missing persons home. The two team dogs both indicated on the same area but due to conditions the decision was made to stand down and resume the search at first light, and await further information on the phones likely location.

Team called by ambulance service to assist with search for missing male dog walker at about 2am. The Team made direct contact with the neighbour who had raised the alarm and established she could now hear the missing man's shouts and see the attending ambulance crew. The Team stood by until further assistance on our part seemed unlikely to be required.

The Team were called out late this morning to assist North East Ambulance Service. A male walker had fallen and sustained a lower leg injury in Hellhole Wood near Beamish Museum. Team members assisted with the carry out to the road.

Team dog deployed in Cleveland area in search for missing male. The dog made indications on either side of the river near where a body was discovered the following morning.

Team callout
The Team were called to assist with the evacuation of of body of a 30 year old male from a very remote farm house in Weardale. The Team used the Team Land Rover to transport the doctor and various police officers into the farmhouse and then once their work was complete we transported the body from the house to the road head.

Team called by the police at about 19.30 to search for a missing 37 year old male in the Low Pittington Area. The team searched nearby woodland, disused quarries and footpaths in the vicinity of the missing mans home. Neighbouring teams were on standby to assist with the search at first light. The missing male turned up at about 2am about 8 miles from his home and the search stood down. 18 Team members attended plus two search dogs.
