Team called out to Fishburn area of County Durham to search for missing man in his sixties. Searching took place on Friday night and again on Saturday. The body of a man was found in woodland outside the search area by a gamekeeper on Saturday afternoon.

Team called late afternoon to search for missing 32yr male who had walked away from hotel room in the early hours.The team searched the surrounding woodland and ponds. As search was coming to a close around 20:00 missing person returned home unhurt.

The Team were contacted by Durham Police at the request of North East Ambulance Service to assist with evacuation of a motor cyclist who had fallen around 8 metres down a tree covered slope when leaving his bike after hitting a mobile library on the B6277 near High Force. The casualty was carried down to the bottom of the slope and then to the Air Ambulance.

The Team were asked to assist Penrith MRT and North of Tyne MRT in the search for a man missing in the area of Alston, Cumbria. The missing person was found by the police safe and well the day after our search.

The team were contacted by Durham Police to look for a missing mountain biker who had set off from Cow Green car park for a circular ride to Great Dun Fell and Moor House. Rider had become lost when his GPS batteries failed. He initially contacted Cumbria Police and was in turn transfered to Durham. The Team deployed 1 SARDA dog and 8 team members. Rider was found returning to his car having pushed his bike round Meldon Hill.

Team searched for a missing male whose car had been found in a layby by concerned family members. The Team searched a steep wooded ravine and stream in either direction assisted by two Team dogs. Missing person found the following day by police based on additional information.

Team called to assist in search for missing 46 year old male in West Cornforth Area. The Team searched a large quarry and surrounding area for 4 hours with assistance from two SARDA dogs and a police helicopter. Nothing found.

Team contacted by police to assist in a possible search for a 13 year old male cyclist who was long overdue while cycling along a track in Hamsterly Forest. Shortly after the Team were called out the boy arrived back at the meeting point safe and well. He had taken a wrong turning, which had caused his late return.

The Team were called to look for a vulnerable male missing from the Sadberge area. No trace found. Police enquiries are continuing. The body of a man was found in an outbuilding in the village 2 days after the search.

The Team were called out by Durham Police to look for a lone walker who had parked his car at Cow Green reservoir car park at 0700 on Friday morning. He had been walking all day in fog. At around 4pm he contacted his family by mobile phone to report that he was lost and would try to make his way to shelter. He was found safe and well at around 8pm by a search dog team, sheltering at Moor House bothy.

Call recieved this afternoon (Saturday) at 17:00 to assist an elderly man who had become stuck in his car in the ford at Killhope Visitor Centre. Three team members attended the scene, the man who was suffering from the cold had already been transfered from the vehicle by ambulance crew.
