Team called to search for a missing male after he had become seperated from his walking group. Missing walker had booked himself into a Bed & Breakfast in Middleton, unaware for the ongoing search.

A happy family picnic turned to tradgedy when a 12 year old boy drowned in a pool in Bowlees Beck in Upper Teesdale. Rescue team called to search for the missing boy. Body recovered at 8pm.
