Search for a lady missing from her address in Peterlee. Search initially centered around her home address. The search was moved to the South Hetton area as further information was received. The lady was found cold and wet, in one of the designated search areas but otherwise uninjured, in an area adjacent to woodland. She was assessed by team medics and warmed up. |

Team called to search for 15 year old child who had gone missing from a school trip in Hamsterly Forest. After about 7 hours searching through dense woodland the missing boy was located safe and well on a track in the woodland and reunited with his family. |

Team were called at about lunch time to search for 61 year old male missing since 7.20am that morning with limited mobility in the Billy Row area. The Team searched all the immediate areas around the village for the well known man. He was found following information from a member of the public just before night fall. Whilst out searching the team also found a second vulnerable person who was suitably treated before being passed onto the local constabulary. |

The Team were briefly called out while return from our days training to look for a missing male in the Dipton area. The vulnerable missing male had last been seen at Dipton Scout Hut and had subsequently told the police that he could hear a road.
He was found by the police very shortly after we were called.

Fourteen Mountain Rescue Volunteers from Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team supported by four dog handlers (and their dogs) from Yorkshire and Northumberland search for 12 hours today for a 65 year old female missing from her home in Peter Lee. The Team searched both the parkland within the Town and the steep and overgrown ground within Castle Eden Dene. No sign of the missing lady was found and the police are continuing to review all the evidence to lead further enquiries. |

Team called to evacuate a male walker who had collapsed near the River Tees a mile or so below Cauldron Snout Waterfall. Further information continued to come in as the team assembled with some police officers and local farmers reaching the casualty first. While the casualty was capable of walking very slowly because of the very difficult terrain he was stretched to the team vehicle before being transferred to a NEAS ambulance. Weather conditions deteriorated while the team were out concluding in heavy rain driven by high winds. |

The police called the team having had a phone call from a young lady who had become lost in Hamsterley forest driving back from an event. She has taken a wrong turning and found herself at a locked gate in the forest not knowing where she was or how to get back. We were able to talk to her and she gave us a good description of her surroundings and three team members were then able to locate her and accompany her back in the team land rover. |

Despite the extensive search nothing was found and there were no further sightings.
