We were called to assist Durham Police to search for a missing person whose car had been found in Stanhope. Nine team members assisted Durham Police and searched open and wooded areas in the Stanhope area. |

the Team were called out to search for a vulnerable male missing from home in the Stanley area. Our air scenting dog was used to search areas around his last known position. We were aided by Durham Police personnel and a Fire and Rescue drone team. Nothing was found during the search but the missing male turned up of his own volition the following morning.

We were called by Durham Police who had received a call from three people lost in Hamsterley Forest at night. They had a location from a phone app. We dispatched our Land-rover and made contact with them by mobile. They were found at the predicted location safe and well, although cold, checked over and returned to their car. |

Team called to assist NEAS with evacuation of female with a lower leg injury from a narrow path near the river in Blanchland. Working with NEAS staff 5 team members helped lift the casualty over a fence and then slide them across to field to the waiting ambulance. |

The Team were called out last night (Friday) to search for a vulnerable male missing from home in Newton Aycliffe for more than 24hrs. 9 team members and 2 mountain rescue search dogs spent 5 hours searching woodland. Police are continuing their inquiries. This incident was ongoing at the same time as we were rescuing a sheepdog from a hole high on the Pennine Fells. |

The team were asked by a local gamekeeper to help recover a sheepdog trapped down a hole in the fells. 5 team members travelled to the hole on Cronkley Fell and used our technical rescue equipment to lower a team member 5 metres down the hole. The dog was then put into a kitbag and brought back to the surface to be reunited with her shepherd owner. |

The police were concerned for his welfare. 10 team members attended. Working with the Police we established a possible location on a fell about 7km NW of his last know location. Upon arriving on scene the team quickly rigged up a stretcher and haul system and brought the injured lady back up to the road for transportation to hospital by County Ambulance. |

The team were called out today at 13:25hrs to support the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) with a male who had collapsed on the Pennine Way near High Force waterfall. Access was restricted from the roadside due to the location being south of the River Tees.
The team deployed 9 team members and with our two all terrain vehicles from Barnard Castle and Durham. Upon the arrival at the incident NEAS ambulance crews were in attendance, Teesdale and Weardale Search & Mountain Rescue team members carried the casualty to a waiting road ambulance via the Holwick Bridge.

The Team searched in darkness for a number of hours covering an area identified by a phone ping and an adjoining area next to the missing persons home. The two team dogs both indicated on the same area but due to conditions the decision was made to stand down and resume the search at first light, and await further information on the phones likely location. |

The Team made direct contact with the neighbour who had raised the alarm and established she could now hear the missing man's shouts and see the attending ambulance crew. The Team used the Team Land Rover to transport the doctor and various police officers into the farmhouse and then once their work was complete we transported the body from the house to the road head. |

Team called by the police at about 19.30 to search for a missing 37 year old male in the Low Pittington Area. The team searched nearby woodland, disused quarries and footpaths in the vicinity of the missing mans home. Neighbouring teams were on standby to assist with the search at first light.
The missing male turned up at about 2am about 8 miles from his home and the search stood down. 18 Team members attended plus two search dogs. |

The Team was called out this afternoon to assist NEAS crew in locating a walking who had fallen in Gibbneese Plantation nr Copley co. Durham. 11 Team members were involved. The casualty was located and was able to walk out to the ambulance with assistance and taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital. |
