10th March 2014 RESCUE TEAM INVOLVED IN MISSING DEPUTY HEAD SEARCH
Teesdale & Weardale Search & Mountain Rescue Team were called out this morning (Monday) to assist in the search for missing Durham School Deputy Head Mark Bushnell. Mr Bushnells car had been found overnight in a car park near Blackhall Rocks, County Durham. Mountain Rescue search manager John Little said " We were contacted by Durham Police at 7am today. Ten of our team members plus two mountain rescue search dogs search an extensive area including Castle Eden and Crimdon Denes. We were assisted by the Coastguard and Police officers. Unfortunately nothing was found.
