3rd December 2017 TEAM DONATES VEHICLE!
The team has today (3/12/17) donated one of it's vehicles which had become surplus to requirements to another mountain rescue team.
The vehicle, a 2003 Iveco van was used by TWSMRT as a search control base and also doubled as an ambulance. Two members of Aberglaslyn MRT, based in Porthmadog north west Wales, drove to Durham to collect the vehicle which has become redundant as TWSMRT prepare to launch their new control vehicle.
Dave Evans & Paul Jones from Aberglaslyn MRT were very happy to accept the keys from Twsmrt member Pete Morrison. The vehicle is now on it's way to it's new home in Wales !
